Hi friends ,

Any body have idea about hp0-461 certification.i got the exam preparation guide but i can't download any other study meterial.

plz give the details about where i can get the study meterial ?
give the details about what are all the things eligible to complete the hp0-461 certification ?

Hi John,
If you have a student ID then you can download web based training (WBT)from the HP Learning Centre site here:

I managed to find 1822 on page 114. You may find some of the others in there that are referenced in the HPO-461 document.

For Course 2168 & 23462 I known that these are instructor based training so it is unlikely that you will be able to download the course material as you will get it when you attend the instructor led training course. You will find descriptions of these courses here:

In the UK I know that HOST Computer Services are an authorised HP training centre and they do these two HP EVA storage array courses, as well as other storage training courses etc. You can find information here:

If you just wish to go for the exams then you can go to any Prometric testing location worldwide to take the exam[s] you want. You can find Prometric here:

A quick search on HP's training web site came up with these:

but there are many types of "volume manager" eg:
LVM, LSM, veritas volume manager etc & for what operating system ???

The HP training site from my previous note may well have some documentation in there but you would need to look for yourself as there are over 130/140 entries !

If I am correct I think that what you mean is HP Storageworks Enterprise Volume Manager? There is an HP link here to give you a success story:

But the thing is you can not download it. You will need to PAY for it! To give you some idea of the cost a quick web search came up with this:

On top of this you will, obviously, need an EVA. Essentially you need a Business Copy [BC] Licence which you can purchase directly from HP once you have supplied them with the world wide identification [WWID] of you EVA and payed them for the licence. You then enter the licence details from command view. You can purchase the licence in 1TB increments.
