Auto Consistency Checks
I've recently updated to the latest version of NetRAID Assistant and now NetRAID automatically runs a consistency check every week. I can't find an option in NetRAID Assistant to turn this off or control the schedule. Am I missing something?
Any info is greatly appreciated!

Re: Auto Consistency Checks
Hi Edward,
I understand the frustration in not being able to turn off or alter the schedule.
I would however, like to give you some advice. If you do turn of the consistecny checks altogether, you may want to go in there at least once a month and do one manually. If you don't perform them on a regular monthly basis, you can get corruption in your parity data that can result in a degraded array. Over time it can get so bad that you won't be able to rebuild a failed drive.
I just thought I'd share some of my knowledge with you in case you were unaware of this.

Re: Auto Consistency Checks
Thanks for the advice, Mark! I definitely will set up at least a monthly check...
