I have a RAID5 array with 4 9GB drives on a netserver LH4 with integrated NetRAID. I have reduced the size of the data to less than 9gb, and I would like to remove one of the drives from the array for use in another array. I would like the end result of this array to be a RAID5 with three of the drives with the 8GB of data left intact. Can I do this? If so, How?

Solution
Once you've added disks to an array, you can't remove them.
Your only option at this point is to do a complete backup of your data and then clear the array config. Then you have to create a new array using just 3 of the drives, reinstall your OS and restore your data from from backup.
