Changing serial number at LH6000

One of our LH6000 servers shows a different serial number in BIOS than the one that is printed on the chassis.

How can it be changed in BIOS to the correct value? I didn't find anything in the manuals.

Frank,

this is normal and the chassis number is not the same as the serial number you find in the BIOS.

You can see both serialnumbers also via the front panel :

- Product Serial xxyyyyyyyy
- Chassis Serial xxyyyyyyyy

Those numbers cannot be changed.
