DAT Drive for LHII NetServer

Is there a 40/80GB DAT internal solution available from HP that will work with a NetServer LHII?

Thanks in advance for your help

Re: DAT Drive for LHII NetServer

In addition to the C5686A SureStore DAT 40i, do I need to order the C7474A Ultra160 SCSI Host Bus Adapter kit?

Can the LHII support this?

Thank you

Re: DAT Drive for LHII NetServer

Are one of the integrated SCSI channels available to use with a tape drive? The LH II has a dual channel built-in Adaptec 2940UW. This can be used for the tape drive in non-LVD mode.
Ultra3 HBA controllers were not tested by HP in the LH II so I do not know if the 29160 would work or not.

Re: DAT Drive for LHII NetServer

Yes, one of the SCSI channels is available for the tape drive.

That answers my questions.

Thanks again
