HDD over 8GB
Why is not SCSI disk ST318438LW
being detected by system in my HP NetServer LH Pro?
When I verify this disk in ECU I can read this
information:
SCSI Channel, Target SCSI ID: 04
CDB: 12 00 00 00 20 00
Host Adapter Status: Auto sense fail
Target Status: 02
Sense Key: 6- Unit attention
Additional Sense Code: 29
Additional Sense Code Qualifier: 00
What does it mean ? What do I have to do?
I asked about it in Seagate Technical Support and they answered that Bios v1.24 AIC-7880 controler not support drives over 8 Gb and I have to have bios level of at least 1.25.
It is truth? Where I can find this version BIOS?

Re: HDD over 8GB
Doesn't it see the disk at all ? How is the disk connected ?
I'm sure that I've used 9GB hard drives in LH Pro systems.
