I put another P2 400 in the server, and the bios reports
"Dual processor system enabled for single processor"
I have checked the manuals and see nothing about how to get the bios to enable the second cpu. Am I missing something?

Re: Installing second CPU in Netserver LH 3
You mention putting a 2nd CPU in, but how about the VRM?
Without it, you won't be able to use both processors.

Re: Installing second CPU in Netserver LH 3
Thank ytou for the fast reply. That is the exact detail of what I was missing.
I am at a new job and have just started administering this machine.
Should a second VRM have come with the PC when it was new, or is somehting that typically would need to be ordered separately?

Solution
Martin,
The VRM would come with the CPU if you ordered it from HP. The LH3 did not come with an extra VRM. You can find those on e-bay or possibly http://www.pmount.com
Ciao,
Greg
