LC3 - Missing Microcode Error
i have here an LC3-dual Processor (PII-405) box and i got this error everytime we boot it up:
0B01-0A-Missing Microcode Update Data Block for PII CPU
we have already replaced the motherboard twice and even updated the bios to a later version.
any advise please? thanks...

the stepping of processors in a system should be the same or only differ one step. I had a problem before and got a microcode error, too.

you can see the steppings of your processors on the right site of the summary screen after the POST; shortly before your OS boots.

The steppings cannot be SET. They correspond to the revision of the product - it's a function of the way the chips are manufactured.
