LH 3000r & W2K
Hi all,
My LH3000r domain controller has started doing some weird stuff and I'm thiking I might have to rebuild it. It is randomly disconnecting from the domain, I can use the server to connect to other servers, but other server can't connect to it.
Questions:
1) If I re-install the O/S, will the domain permissions on the files shares remain, I have two other domain controllers in the network.
2)Has anyone got the LH3000r BIOS update (not the u2 -> U3 update) as I can't download it.
thanks

Re: LH 3000r & W2K
Glen, we had such a problem and it was the network card (NIC). We replaced it and the communication problem went away.

Re: LH 3000r & W2K
I had previously installed another PCI NIC which was teamed with the on-board adapter. I have tried both NICS without any success. Is it a particular model of NIC that can cause the problem??
thanks
