I need to reinstall Win NT, but can't get the system to boot from the floppy. I assigned the LUN number of the CD drive in the EISA configuration (just installed latest BIOS and ECU version). Any ideas?
Is it possible to install NT on the RAID without having a configuration assistant CD? Can I load an 'additional driver' from the winnt4 utilities CD? I have a SCSI drive outside the hotplug disk cabinet, on the same cable as the CD-ROM.

>>>I need to reinstall Win NT, but can't get the system to boot from the floppy.
Did you have replaced the floppydisk drive? you need to move a jumperdor "Eisa architecture server"
>> I assigned the LUN number of the CD drive in the EISA configuration (just installed latest BIOS and ECU version). Any ideas?
Did you have problem with cd-rom or floppy drive ?
>> Is it possible to install NT on the RAID without having a configuration assistant CD?
Are you speaking about cd-navigator ?
Yes, you have to create your logical raid then initialize it entering in the bios of the netraid (CTRL-M at boot time) then it will be ready to be recognized by NT
>>>Can I load an 'additional driver' from the winnt4 utilities CD?
yes, press f6 in the booting process and select "S" to specifie path and driver to add
>>>I have a SCSI drive outside the hotplug disk cabinet, on the same cable as the CD-ROM.
be sure to have unique scsi id, the scsi id on the hotswap cage are fixed, so check your doc to see if any conflict
