LH PRO video problem.

I've read through some of threads regarding video issues on the NetServer LH Pro.

I'm having an issue with the Trident 9000i as well. Does anyone know if the highest resolution is 800x600? I've tried to download the drivers from www.trendmicro.com but can't find any for NT 4.0. Does anyone know the location of this driver?

Thanks

Re: LH PRO video problem.

Try this driver. If I remember right, you can only get 1024x768 in 256 color mode.

John,

I can't seem to get the zip file to work. I get an error message saying 'there is no valid archive'. Could you resubmit the file please?

Re: LH PRO video problem.

Here is a link to the drivers for the LH Pro. It should be on the first diskette created by the exe file. Just download to your HDD, then run the exe, it will create 2 floppies.

Re: LH PRO video problem.

I've downloaded this a few time only drivers that seem to be there are the SCII/RAID/NIC drivers. Nothing seems to load for the video controller.

Re: LH PRO video problem.

hi
this is an extract of the caracteristics of the video of the lh-pro:

Integrated 1024x768, 16 color non-interlaced
512KB standard video memory
Super VGA drivers available with operating system or on HP Server BBS

so as you can see you already reach the max resolution.
the suggestion is if you need more resolution is to disable the integrated video controller (moving a jumper on the motherboar) and to add a new card (not too new)
bye

Re: LH PRO video problem.

The highest resolution I can achieve is 800x600 and 16 color. I'm trying install an application on this server that requires 800x600 and 256 color.

If I cannot achieve this I'll install another card but I thought this controll could support those settings.

Re: LH PRO video problem.

What driver does it say you are using? Is PC Anywhere installed on the system? If so, you must completely remove it before installing the video driver, or it will not allow it to install.

Re: LH PRO video problem.

After reinstalling NT I was using the default NT video installed. I've searches the CD and found a Trident 9000 driver and tried that but again I had the same problem.

PcAnywhere is not installed on the machine. Right now just NT 4.0sp6a is loaded.
