LH2 error installing NT4 with navigator disk

I keep getting a error when installing NT4 at the point when you insert the CD rom and it ask for the manufactures driver disk. It says it cant copy the oemsetup.inf file.

I have created the driver disk from the navigator CD

Re: LH2 error installing NT4 with navigator disk

Try using a new floppy diskette, and make the drivers diskette from here:

Re: LH2 error installing NT4 with navigator disk

Mark,

Also are you installing from the NT4 CD or do you have the three diskettes to boot to? It was never a supported install off the CD. Make the three bootable floppy diskettes off the NT CD with the winnt /ox or winnt32 /ox command depending on your OS and boot to the diskettes without the NT CD in the server until after the third diskette. At the end of the second diskette where it asks to detect mass storage press S to skip and S to specify and then load your drivers from the diskettes that Theo directed you to create from the HP website. That resolves a lot of install issues. Also for the LH2 make sure there are no cards in PCI slot 8 which shares with the embedded SCSI. Do you still have the SCSI CD-ROM installed in this server?

Ciao,
Greg
