SolutionThe LC2000 requires only one power supply.. Two to be redundant. If your server and fans Never power on try moving your power supply to the other power supply slot and trying a different outlet. Otherwise you are looking most likely at a failed power supply. Also check the power on button on the front of the server underneath the bezel to make sure that the button is not stuck. That can also cause the server to never power on.
Ciao,
Greg

Re: NetServer LC 2000 Startup Problem
Leave your clear CMOS switch to the on position. Try reseating components as theo stated. If there is no change, remove keyboard and mouse, if still no change removed all PCI cards --> if still no change remove all memory--> if you get a beep code then add memory in one by one and see if you can get video back (you may have a bad DIMM or just needed the CMOS cleared w/ no memory). If you don't get a beep code then remove CPU's 1x1 along with the corresponding VRM. If you only have one CPU and you get no beep code your suspect components are power supply, cpu/vrm or system board.
Ciao,
Greg
