LH3 server issue
Hi all,
When i am installing Cent OS on LH3 server,it is installing the scsi driver but at the time partioning the hard disk,it is indicating HDD not found..
Is there any upgrading is required in Cent OS or we have to load the driver module for scsi.
Let me know if anybody has came up with this problem and solved it.

Re: LH3 server issue
Yes, SCSI would require a drive to support the onboard SCSI and it may not be supported. Are you using the RAID controller? Or has it been disable on the SCSI port your hard drive(s) are installed on?
You may have to install a support SCSI card ionto the system.

Re: LH3 server issue
you cannot format a disk connected to a Raid controller if you have not created a LUN.
Enter in netraid express tool (CTRL-M) at boot time, and create an array then inizialaze it.
when this is done, you can reboot and reinstall as usual, you will be able to partition and format the disk as usual
