I have just recently purchased a Mother-Board, Ram, Second Powersupply cage with 3rd Powersupply, 2 P3 700Mhz CPUs and 2 extra VRMs to upgrade my LH3 to an LH4. After installing everything All I get is a blank screenand no Post. Can anyone help me?

hi,
I would build it up slowly putting the min memory and 1x proc in first and no accesory cards.
Also did you get the correct board for the 700mhz proc?
It should have the part number D7014-6xxxx
If you have the D6970-6xxxx part number it doesnt support anything above 550mhz. There was an extra chip installed on the D7014 board.
Also are the vrm's correct. They are a different voltage to the lh3 ones for the Xeon processors.
you would actually need four for a dual proc system as the lh3 ones would be no good.
And memory has th installed in quads in the lh4's across the 2 memory carrier boards.
(2 per memory carrier if just 4 installed)
Also if you remove the side cover are the dimm leds lit on the system board? depending upon the sequence of them this could help indicate the problem.

That has got me in the right direction. I have the Wrong Board. I am going to look for the correct one to see if that fixes the problem.
