LHpro RAID oddities?
recently got the PCI HPDA for my dual PPro Netserver being a relabled Mylex DAC960PL with some HP FW. Till then I had all drives (1x1GB Seagate Hawk, 4x 2GB HP Barracuda, 1x 4GB HP Atlas II) connected to the onboard adaptec. Now connected to the HPDA: Running Jetset results in not being able to create a drive due to non same size drives, so I removed 1GB and 4GB and set up a 6GB RAID 5. Trying to run Mylex DACCF resulted in the SW not detecting any of the 2GB drives, only 1GB and 4GB are detected.
Now I swapped the Controller Firmware to Mylex to get LINUX support the DAC 960 PL card:
DACCF detects the 1GB drive as the only drive, all hp drives take quite some time for SCSI inquiery but none is detected.
I had to replace all the hp drives to get a working RAID set up. Now the machine runs LINUX fine with an array of 2GB Conner drives

Re: LHpro RAID oddities?
I know the atlas and baraccuda drives both had some firmware updates...did you happen to look at upgrading those?
