Looking for a Netserver LH3 replacement

We currently have an LH3 that runs RAID 5, has 1 GB of RAM, a PII 400 Mhz cpu. What I am looking for is a replacement that will have the speed and power we need to run our database system.

Features I would like are:

- CPU greater than 2 GHZ
- 1GB ECC RAM
- Redundant Power supplies (This server needs to operate at all times)

You can get smaller systems to meet your spec, how big will your RAID 5 need to be? Do you have spindle number requirement?

Does this server have a redundant power supply? Is it able to just sit on a desk, or must it be rack mounted? What RAID configuration does it use? I don't need a lot of space. 20GB would be more than enough.

The ML370 G3 can be purchased with Redundant power suplies and redundant fans. It will sit on a desk (tower model) and you have 6 HDD bays to install a variety of disks in it. It has the scalability to be a dual processor system (with hyper-threading will look like 4 processors depending on the O/S)

If I were looking to build it, I would build a two disk mirror (2x18GB) for the O/S and another 4 disks (4x18GB) with three in a RAID 5 and a hot spare for both logical drives.
