Looking for Netserver Navigator CD for LH 3000

Hi,

I am looking for that CD in order to set up to date every firmware on my server, it seems that the latest version is M 04.05, if some one have it (or newer) I would be pleased to download iso.

I have used several years ago an old version of CD Navigator to upgrade the many bios of the server and I remember that there were so many bios only on the motherboard that I had never heard about, more there were bios for the starfish....
The CD Navigator seems to be the better way to avoid forgetting a firmware or updating a FW with a wrong vrsion.

I am stand by Terri's recommendation because after the last navigator CD released there ahve been many updates on the firmware, utilities and drivers that comes with the CD. Therefore, it is very imprtant to visit the this site

Note that the firmware is found under cross operating system which is at the bottom of the operating system list in the page

The main things that you need are
Under Cross Operating Systgem(BIOS,....)
1.System BIOS (BIOS system ROM)
2. Raid controller firmware ( unless you have an add on PCI raid controller this server comes with a builtin raid controller)
3. Backplane firmware

Under The operating system (You ahve to select the OS you are running)

1. Driver for the raid controller and NIC for the Operating system you are running
2. May be Netraid assistant which is listed under software storage controller (Utility for HP netraid....)
If you have a netraid 4m controller the utility is different.
3. HP Instant Top Tools listed under "Utility Instant Top Tools"

NOTE !!!!!!

Thsi server has two versions ( a U3 Model and A U2 model)
You can find out this from the front panel screen on the server or you can check the product number which is found next to the serial#
If Product Number ends with A it is a U2 server
If Product Number ends with B it is a U3 server
Based on that make sure you download the right system BIOS (If you have a U3 server make sure you got the U3 BIOS and vise versa)

Thanks to Malvin who send me the CD, as Terri and amhakassa said I will have a look for newer versions on HP's web site after making a list of all the FW detected by the CD.
