I'm experiencing difficulties with running XEON 550 processor on LT6000r units with processor board D9190-6001. It has to be replaced for D9143-6003 to support XEON 550.
Is there any possibility for me to modify existing D9190-6001 into D9143-6003?
what has to be done?
both processor boards looks pretty much the same to me.
what's the solution?
any feedback is appreciated.

Solution
Hi
Processor Bd.D9143-69003 is for 550MHz Tanner or 700MHz Cascade
Processor Bd.D9190-69001 is for 700MHz or faster Cascades
It will be not possible to make firmware or bios up or downgrades. Probably in your server was orig 700 or 900 MHZ CPU installed. Only HW exchange will make your system working properly.
