LX Pro and NT 3.51
Please do not laugh when I state we are running Microsoft SMS 1.2 on a Dual 180 Pro LX Pro with Windows 3.51. My question is this, what is the maximum amount of processors and what speeds can this box go up to. AND....What would I need to run for NT 3.51 to recognize these additional processors.
Thank you in advance

Re: LX Pro and NT 3.51
I think I'm stepping back into time here...I couldn't remember if 3.51 could run on a multiple processor, but then I re-read your post and remembered that I used to have a quad processor machine, so I'd say at least 4 cpu's if not more. The issue though is MEMORY, where 32 bit os's can address only 2GB (unless they play games).

Re: LX Pro and NT 3.51
hi
As I remenber, LX pro can have two processor maximum depending of the model, If you have a dual processor board, you can add the second one.

Re: LX Pro and NT 3.51
Two things to check to make sure NT sees multiprocessor. First, of course, the HAL has to be multiprocessor. Second is the MPS table at the bios level. Make sure that you are using MPS 1.4 on the LX pro. Boot to the ECU diskette or the Nav CD to run ECU to check it out.
