Hello!
There is a problem with my Netserver LH Pro. I need more than 256 colours. But the on Board Chip (Trident 9000i) shows only 256.
So I installed a PCI Graphic Adapter ( I tried ATI 264 VT2 and a card with S3 Chip(Trio 32/64)). There is W2K Professional (SP3) running on the server. The cards where shown in the Hardware-Manager but W2K doesn't accept the drivers, so there are only the Standard (16 colours). I have switched off the Trident-Chip with switch 8 on Board. I have downloaded the new ECU 1.30 but I don't know what I have to change in it. There is a message in the hardware-manager, that there are not enough ressources for the card (Code 12), but there are no conflicts at the Ressourcen Registercard. So can anybody help? If you need some additional informations, please feel free and ask! Thanks Rico

Solution
With video card out, and the onboard enabled, boot to the ECU. Go to configure the system. There is a video option, disable the video here. save and exit. power the system off, move switch 8 to disable the onboardvideo, put new card in. Try multiple slots.

Re: More than 256 colours on LH Pro?
Great, it helps. I tried at first PCI-Slot 5 and nothing happened but at PCI-Slot 9 it works. Thx a lot!
I don't know?!?
