NetRaid card drivers

I have a NetRaid D4943-60002, but what card is it? It has a 4mb memory chip in it but I cannot find anything that says its a Netraid 4M for example, can you tell me what card this is and where I can get the drivers for NT4, its driving me up the wall!

That is the classic netraid family of which you have the classic NetRaid which has 3 channels total. Beware that the classic NetRaids are not supported under 2000 and will not work under that NOS. All of the following NetRaid cards use the same drivers for NT 4.0. The NetRaid1 (classic 1 channel), Netraid (classic 3 channel:2 internal channels or 3 external) NetRaid1si (1 channel) or NetRaid3si (3 channels total)

You can get the driver here along with the NetRaid Assistant utility and firmware for the card. Firmware is crucial for that card. Make sure that you are at the latest fw A.04.03 http://www.hp.com/cposupport/swindexes/hpnetraid8163_swen.html

I also have one of these NetRAID D4943-60002 cards and would like to use it on a system running NT4. I tried going to the link that Greg Carlson listed to get the drivers and firmware but the page did not exists.

Is there another URL in which I can get the drivers for this card?

They are currently revamping the HP site so it is best to go to HP.com, click on drivers and type netraid. which has all the netraid links for all netraid cards currently.

We also have the same card (D4943-60002) in our server setup, but can't seem to find an NT4 driver thats works. I desperately need to reinstall NT4 as we lost the lot! I tried the suggested drivers but they don't work (As they seem to be only for W2K). Thanks

Thanks for the link, But I still have problems.... NT4 setup is asking for a driver to 'see' the RAID controller, but when I use the suggested driver, NT won't accept it, continually prompting for a driver disk. Which driver should I actually be trying? The server setup is not part of a cluster and only uses one external RAID array. No drives are presnt in the server itself. I beleive the controller is actually an AMI card? When I use the CD that came with the server, it install a driver, which I assume is the internal RAID and therefore NT doesn't find any drives. Any help would be gratefully received.....Thanks.
