Netraid Controller

Hello All,

Does anyone know how I can find which model of netraid controller is in my lh3000? We recently bought another company and we would like to put this server into our production environment.
Thanks for any help in this

Re: Netraid Controller

What O/S are you using?

If the server has TopTools installed you should be able to determine from the diagnostics.

Or, you should be able to determine the Device Manager as what driver is loaded.
Enjoy!

Re: Netraid Controller

Don, its most likely a netraid 1si or 3si depending on how many channels you have. Look in Device Manager under scsi and raid adapters and see what is listed. You should see Integrated netraid and then your pci netraid card.

Re: Netraid Controller

Hi Don,
There are a few ways you can tell which controller is installed. You can go into the NetRAID Express Tools by pressing M at startup when it prompts you. From the Management Menu, choose "Objects" then "Adapter". In the list, it should show you "Adapter Type" or, if it is a 1M or 2M, it will have "Other Adapter Info" which will show you the adapter type and the firmware revision. You can also call 1-800-474-6838 and say "NetServer" at the voice prompt and an agent would be happy to help you figure it out. There is no charge for this service.
Good luck,
Sean
