Re: Netserve e800 reboot problem
You can turn ASR by going to the Advanced tab in System properties. Click on the Startup & Recovery button then uncheck "Automatically reboot."
A lot of times, however, random reboots can be the result of a bad power supply.
What troubleshooting have you done so far?

Re: Netserve e800 reboot problem
Updating the BIOS will be the best thing to start with. you could get the BIOS in this link
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?locale=en_US&pnameOID=20916&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=45939〈=en&cc=us&swEnvOID=54#326
Make sure you cleared the CMOS as follows after the BIOS flash
1. Turn off power to the NetServer and remove the cover.
2. Move switch 4 in the configuration switch on the system board (labeled "Clear CMOS") to the ON position.
3. Turn on power to the NetServer.
A message displays indicating the configuration has been cleared.
4. Turn off power to the NetServer.
5. Return switch 4 on the system board to the OFF position.
6. Replace the cover.
7. Turn on power to the NetServer and the following message displays:
"Incorrect System Configuration"
8. Press [F2] to run the Setup Utility when
9. Make any configuration changes required.
10. Choose the Exit option and save the changes to save the configuration and exit the Setup Utility.
* If the problem still exist after the BIOS flash, make sure you haven't used any third party memory in your machine (that is another thing that causes such problem or system unstability)
if the problem is not resolved come back with the following information
1. How many processors dou u have?
2. How many Memory stick and what size do u have in this system?
3. What othe PCI cards are in the system?
4. Have u added any new PCI card lately?
Good Luck

Re: Netserve e800 reboot problem
In my case, after trying "everything" I had to disable integrated NIC , and new NIC was placed into PCI slot instead.
Since then, server never switch off again.
Simptoms which were preceed the server go off, was traffic trough the NIC (print job o file copy).
Possible that you have same problem at E800.
