Netserver e40 CPU Upgrade
Can I upgrade the e40 Pentium Pro 200MHZ CPU with Pentium II Overdrive Processor 333MHZ?

sorry, no. There is no upgrade path for the PPro

Hi Pinhooi,
The only way this would be possible is if you upgrade your E40 to an E50 by replacing the system board and processor. The part numbers are:
D6034-69001 - System Processor Board
D6031-63000 - PII-333MHz (66MHz FSB, 512KB L2 cache, Slot-1, ECC)
D6034-40001 - Nameplate - NetServer PII/3xx E50 logo (Optional)
Note that if you ask HP if you can do this, they will say "No - Unsupported".
