netserver e800: trouble booting from hard drive

Hi.

I have some trouble booting from a harddrive.
onboard scsi controller: 1 cd-rom, 2 9gb hard drives.

additional pci ide controller: 1 80 gb hard drive.

i can boot from cd without any problem. but after installing the OS to the harddrive the system wont boot.

i allready checked the boot priority in bios but it is configurred correctly starting with the scsi disk.

any idea whats wrong?
