netserver hardrive problems
Can someone help me
I have a LH pro II netserver
with 4 hardrives the system was working fine I install a wirely network card and I disconnected my netraid card to install it i reinstalled my raid card but my system would,nt boot so I go's into the bios system see the drives, but the bios will'nt let me fix or format the drives
I also have a second LH pro With a wirely network card running fine. so it's not the card.
tried to boot my system with a hp bootdisk system can see drives and other component with in the system.

Re: netserver hardrive problems
Cliff,
In both LH Pros, were PCI card layouts the same, i.e., were the wireless cards and the netraid in the same pci slots? The reason I ask is when I was tinkering with my LH4, placement of the wireless card was tricky. It appeared as though placing it in certain pci slots interfered with the function of the card next to it and/or on some occasions prevented bootup altogether. I was however able to get the LH4 test system working flawlessly by card placement trial and error.
