Netserver LH II Problems
Hi, i have LHII 256 mb ram and 3 9GB hd, and i try to install linux,freebsd o w2k, its possible? because none os these SO dont recognizes the HDs. I need orientation for any installation. thank

Hi Pablo,
When an O/S install doesn't detect any hard drives, it is usually because you need to specify a driver for the hard drive controller during setup. Your Netserver probably had a NetRAID controller installed but it could also be a standard SCSI controller or even a Mylex controller.
When the server starts up and detects the hard drives, pause the screen and read the information about the controller. If you figure out which one it is, post it here and we can give you a link to the driver.

Hi Sean, thanks by the answer. The SCSI controller is: ADAPTEC AIC-7880 ultra/ultra wide. Ok as I follow?
