Netserver LPT 1000r don't boot with other pci device.

I'm trying the change the pci scsi device to a pci ide raid device. The problem is that when I boot the server I post all the way to my PCI IDE riad device but if this is done the system said something about system information updated and then it hangs. The _ is blinking but it's doing totally nothing then.

Someone has a solution?

The scsi device is a Megatrend 475 provided by HP it self.
The IDE Raid device a Highpoint-tech rocketraid 454.
It's a DUAL PIII 1.13Ghz version.

I want to use that HP lp Netserver 1000r as a file server.

sounds like a PCI conflict and it never updates the INTs for the bus. Try another slot or change it on the boards setup or manually configure in the Netserver BIOS

Don't have a other pci slot :) it's a 1U server.

I even cleared the bios. It only boot when there is a PCI Megatrend connected.
