Re: NETSERVER
I have an LH3 that was loosing comunications with 1 drive no matter how many replacement drives we put in. After talking to Ian with HP suport we came to the conclusion that the LH3 needed tohave a bios and fw upgrade done to it. A day later I have on NETRAID 12 with 8 bad drives (4 of the the netraid 12 slots are empty) and another NETRAID with at least one bad or missing drive. We replaced the 3si care but to no avail. We were working with Amkhassa and we were makign progress but alas we ran out of time. Can you please contact me and provide me with th edocumentation on what was done this evening.

Re: NETSERVER
Hi Tony,
What we have done so far is collect the configuration infomrmation on the server
According to what we got it sounds like you ahve lost the configuration information on the hard drives that are connected to the actual server. According to the configuration on RS12, the logical drive on Adpater 1 Ch2 seems to fail the rest are fine
Since you don't have a configuration information on the 8 drives internal to the server it is really hard to get the operating system back online. However, you can get the data you ahve in the RS12 by installing the OS in a new drive
Here is the configuration information, according to our earlier discussion, you have on the server
--Adapter 0 --Integrated raid controller
--CH 0
