Netwroking trouble

I have on old Netserver I'm trying to set up as a proxy for my cable internet. It has a dual compaq network card in it. How do I get the two pats of the card to comunicate with each other? I can get the one side to comunicate with my ISP and I cen get the other one to communicate with my other computer but I can't get the two of them to communicate with each other. also the card for my ISP has a dynamic IP if that makes a difference. thanks for the help.

Jake,

That depends on the operating system you're running.
On NT4.0 you can try IP-forwarding on w2k you can share a Network connection.
It sounds like you want IPpackets from one segment to be routed to the other segment.

A static route might also work in combination with the above mentioned suggestions.
