POST errors on LPr 2000
My client is getting this at the POST. I would like to know the cause and a solution would be greatly appreciated.
ERRORS
1) 0080-51 Netserver Management Controller Failure
2) 0090-64 DIMM Management Failure

the problem is related to the managment (small chip whith is always powered on the system board also when the server is powered off) to solve this problem you can do some step:
1-- disconect power cable, lan cable, periferical cable (modems, ups, printer or storages) to isolate the server from the power for two minuts, then reconect and see if it's solved
2-- flash the bios to the last version
3-- contact HP to replace the "riser board" (usualy this error is on a LPr and not lpr2000)

I have found that if both errors occur together.. a simple clear and flash will not fix the problem. You will need to contact HP to have the mainboard replaced. the LP2000r does not have a riser card like the LPr did. But the error reports the same. Sorry I wish I could have a magical answer, but the mgnt controller is DEAD>
