Unresolved config mismatch between disk(s) and NVRAM.
We are having troubles to boot with a HP LH 6000 U3. We are using RAID 5 and we are unable to get the array working. Ther firmware tries to recognize the array but it fails. The following lines are displayed:
1 Logical Drive(s) found.
1 Logical Drive(s) missed.
Unresolved config mismatch between disk(s) and NVRAM.
1 Logical drive(s) handled by BIOS.
Press to run HP NetRAID Express Tools
or any key to continue.
When any key is pressed it tries to start Windows but it fails.
All of our hard disk are HP 36 GB and we havent done any changes. The problem start with a windows crash, the kernell was unstable and after we reboot the fails started.
Can we use the HP NetRAID Express Tools without any risk of data loss?
Is there a way to use a thirdparty tools to mount the array and backup our information?
Thans a lot in advance.

Re: Unresolved config mismatch between disk(s) and NVRAM.
Hello,
yes you can use CTRL M Express Tools and what generally fixes this message is to go into :
- Configure
-View/Add/Delete Configuration
(see attached screenshot)
you should then normally get 2 selections here. Choose to upload the config stored on the disks as opposed to the NVRAM config.
If this does not help, try reconfiguring with the exact same raid array parameters (raid level, stripe size etc) and re-save this, this will re-write the config without initializing the disks.
Their are no easy to use 3th party tools really to backup data from a Netraid raid array.
