Cluster MSA500 Disk Presentation

Hello,
I need to install a MSA 500 for a linux cluster (2 nodes), I know that the array configuration is done through Array configuration Utility, What are the steps i have to take in order to correctly create the LUNS and present it to the 2 hosts prior to install the linux cluster?? do i just have to create the same array throuhg ADU (same disks, same logical array) on both servers??

Re: Cluster MSA500 Disk Presentation

Hi,

Just create your LUNS and present them to both the nodes. That's all you have to do.

Re: Cluster MSA500 Disk Presentation

Is it recommended to do it after linux installation or before instalation? I thought that this would be somehow more complicated. is it recommended to create the array on the first server, shut it down and do it on the second one?? or could they be done while the other server is online??? I have found really hard to find documentation about this matter.
