Netware 5.1 Migration to Windows 2003
We are planning a Netware 5.1 migration from a 149 distributed servers to a central, clustered NAS Proliant Storage Server and (running a version of Windows 2003). There are approximately 20,000 desktops that the distributed servers currently serve and 6TB of data. No printers need to be migrated.
The NAS Cluster is connected to a large EVA SAN. We have technical folks at each of the 149 distributed sites to help some of the migration in a limited capacity.
CAN ANYONE COMMENT ON HOW LONG WE SHOULD PLAN FOR THE MIGRATION TO TAKE PLACE? The network bandwidth between the distributed sites and the central site is 100Mb.
Thanks
Doug
