Get Error of Network Simulator on Windows: Failed to refresh comware version

Hi!

I have used the HP Network Simulator on several Devices running Windows 7 SP1 64 Bit and Windows 8.164 Bit  and never got this problem. Now I bought myself a new notebook running Windows 8.1 64 Bit and installed Virtualbox 4.3.22 and HNS 7.1.50 and getting some strange problems with it.

With projects I am running on the other devices I get this error in HNS when I want to run it: Failed to refresh comware version.

This happens most of the time, in rare cases it runs the projects without making any changes to them, only restarting HNS.

If the projects are running and Virtual Box has started up, the VMs are most of the time unable to start up and the Boot process shows this error message:

     Booting  'simware'

Load the ipe file from the disk, please wait....

file (hd1,msdos1)/simware.ipe isn't exist

unaligned point 0x3ffccb74

Aborted. Press any key to exit.

I got only one image to start on this notebook. I reinstalled Virtual Box and HNS but nothing changed.

This is realy anoying, as I bought the new notebook primary for such simulation purposes. :-(

One of the configurations is:

Has anyone experienced similar problems?

I solved the problem:

I edit the  host-only adapter, and change adapter type from: PCnet-PCI II (Am 79C970A) [default value], to Intel PRO/1000 MT Desktop (82540EM). And so i worked

I hope they work properly
