HP Color LaserJet 5500dn接続

[TLSG01]

HP Color LaserJet 5500dnプリンタを

HP c8000 (hpux11.iv1)と

接続したいのですが

接続手順がわかりません。

プリンタとはTCP/IPで接続します。

c8000にHP JetDirect printer Installer for Unixを入れ、

samでPrinter and plottersを起動し、

Action->

Add Nwtwork-Based Printer/Plotter->

Add Printer/Plotter Connected to HP JetDirest...

まで進んだのですが

1) Spooler Administration

2) JetDirect Configuration

に進んでも

Printerデバイスファイルが

作成できません

Add Printer/Plotter Connected to HP JetDirest...

でTCP/IPプリンタ接続した経験の有る方はおられますでしょうか？

ほんとに昔、設定したことがあるだけですが。

ネットワーク経由の場合には、プリンターのデバイスファイルは、作成されないはずです。

にて解決したようです。

。/usr/sbin/setnetlpコマンドに対する情報を

間違っていました。

Configurable Parameters: Current Settings

となるようにしたらプリントできました。

でAcrobatReaderとxvからはプリントできたが

% ll | lpでは日本語の月日が文字化け。

% a2ps textfile.txt で送ると無視されて

　bannerの１枚しか出ない。

ポストスクリプトを印刷したいのに

これではダメです。

結論：

HP Color LaserJet 5500dnの場合

%!PS-Adobe-3.0 には対応していないようです。

たしか、そのような話を聞いた気がします。
