Cannot clear lanadmin statistics

Enter command: clear
Clearing LAN Interface statistics registers.
error: expected primitive 0x06, got DL_ERROR_ACK
dl_error_primitive = 0xe7
dl_errno = 0x04
dl_unix_errno = 22
Unable to clear statistics registers.

IF you are running 11.11, you can also try applying patch PHNE_28799
.

Ok....

Do you have the latest lan patches installed and configured?

are you root?

If this is 10.20, and if you are trying to reset the built-in 10 MB LAN card, then: change the switch port on the LAN card, and try again.

You also might want to post this on the HP-UX forum.
