Live from HPE Discover 2025: Interview with Divya Rajpal
Hey HPE Discover attendees!
Live from the HPE Discover Showcase floor, I’m blogging from backstage in preparation for one of HPE Discover 2025’s most popular sessions – the Networking Technical General Session!
We are capping a summer of events in the networking industry with the most exciting innovations yet! As you learn about new ways to implement solutions from HPE Aruba Networking, collaborate and network with industry peers, and undergo rigorous certification testing to establish your standing as expert technologists, I wanted to shine a light on the behind-the-scenes work for the Technical General Session so you can get a hands-on feel for what we are doing to put on the best HPE Discover 2025 for our HPE Aruba Networking attendees yet!
This Wednesday in the General Session Theater, David Hughes, SVP and Chief Product Officer at HPE Aruba Networking has assembled an amazing slew of technical demos spanning our Security-first, AI-powered Networking architecture.
Those of you who have attended in years past will know that we seek to amaze our customers, partners, and industry experts with live demos of our latest innovations. This is not without risk, as we are beholden to the powers that be that features we have rigorously tested and prepared for in the months leading up to the Technical General Session go off without a hitch!
Divya Rajpal, Senior Product Manager
1) What is your role at HPE and how long have you worked here?
I am a Sr. Product Manager at HPE Aruba Networking, driving the integration of Agentic AI into HPE Aruba Networking Central and delivering the best user experience through UXI (user experience insight). I’ve been with HPE for almost four years now.
2) What have you been most excited for Discover attendees to have seen?
I am excited for attendees to experience how we are redefining proactive network operations. Our latest Agentic AI innovations are game changing, and seeing them in action will be a highlight of the show.
3) From your perspective, what is the biggest new and exciting thing about HPE Aruba Networking Central?
We have always made big bets with HPE Aruba Networking Central to make the platform your go to, daily use platform with interactive UI, Multivendor Observability, AI Insights and Automation, Unparalleled Application Visibility using UXI as our digital twin to just name a few.
If I have to choose one, I will say incorporating Agentic AI. I believe the scope is truly unbelievable. For the first time, we have AI that is capable of thinking, reasoning, acting and learning own it's own. We are redefining how the networks are designed, configured, monitored, troubleshot using Agentic AI, making them autonomous, adaptive and efficient.
4) What is your favorite technical resource you want all technologists to read?
Since I am on the theme of Agentic AI, I highly recommend Agentic Artificial Intelligence by Pascal Bornet. It offers a practical lens, using real examples to show how Agentic AI is set to transform industries including networking.
Everything sounds great and I'm looking forward to a great demo from you and Miles tomorrow!
