HP NonStop X Series Architecture
I am learning to be a NonStop X series engineer. Can someone point me to a architecture document/manual that will describe the architecture as it is NOT from the perspective of upgrading from the previous series which I htink was J?
I began working on Tandems in 1986 as a Cobol/SQL MP programmer up until about 2004. My experience is purely from an application perspective with a sound enough knowledge to get myself around the environment.
I would really like to to understand the Network regarding clim's, ethernet etc....
Regards,
David Rhoads

Re: HP NonStop X Series Architecture
take a look at the Nonstop X planning guide, either for NS2 or NS7. Nonstop X NS7 planning guide These describe the hardware architecture. The software architecture between Lseries and Jseries are pretty simmilar, with new features in Database, networking, etc that are only available on Nonstop X.
