Re: 10.20 and 11.0 in the same machine
hi,
You can just do a fresh install ignoring 10.20 disk and choosing a new disk for 11.00. You will be able to boot alternatively 10.20 or 11.00 by changing primary boot path.
Regards.

Re: 10.20 and 11.0 in the same machine
Hello:
Thank you for your help.
I should to do a cold install in the new disk for 11.0.
Is it correct?
The directories /etc /opt /sbin /stand
/tmp /usr /var alredy exist in the 10.20 disk.
When I install 11.0 in the new disk:
These directories are modified in the 10.20 disk or created in the new disk?
Have I to do backup of anything?
Thanks.

Re: 10.20 and 11.0 in the same machine
hi,
If you specify a new disk for the cold 11.00 install, the 10.20 disk will be completly ignored, no matter it contains, and left untouched. But in case of typos or other errors you should anyway make a full backup of you 10.20 disk using for example make_tape_recovery -A ...
