11.11 upgrade

We have some PeopleSoft N's running 11.0, because of PS. So, I've been doing upgrades to 11.11 V1 on all my servers, 2 so far. After all the bad upgrades in my career, these have been pretty good. Not many problems except an old FDDI card that gave me a fit.

Question, do I have to re mirror the secondary drive after an upgrade? The 2 drives in our N's are 1 primary and 1 mirror. I know hoe to mirror, I am just curious if u need to redo the secondary drive.

Re: 11.11 upgrade

The only answer I would trust is lvdisplay /dev/vg00/lvol* and note the Mirror Copies. Being paranoid, I would follow that with the same command using -v to make sure that all extents on all PV's are "current".

It would be a good idea to do your mkboot and mkboot -a commands on the alternate drive, followed by a lvlnboot -R in case there is a difference between the 11.0 and 11.11 boot images.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
