2 node cluster failover test
I work in a heterogeneous environment , but I m more inclined towards learning HPUX, just to add, I have just finished my buddy period and just started working on incidents and changes independently, so can someone pls guide me how to master or get more command over this subject. Or provide me a list of topics so that I can read and practice as we have couple of HPUX test boxes in our company’s lab.
I must admit that this site really helps, in fact a person like me who has just started working in UNIX is performing complex changes and troubleshooting difficult incidents with out relying on any of our L3. You can definitely find solutions for any HPUX problem here.
And also can someone please provide a plan for 2 node cluster failover test, which I have scheduled for next weekend.
Thanks and regards
AK

Re: 2 node cluster failover test
Is there any chance for you to grab the documentation for the "Hands on with Service Guard" course from any of your friends out there. This one contains the step-by-step procedure for creating 2 node cluster.
Regards,
Rasheed Tamton.

Re: 2 node cluster failover test
If you have access to the knowledge database in the ITRC (you must have a support contract), look up these documents:
1) Serviceguard Cluster Implementation Summary
2) Serviceguard Test Suite Whitepaper
There are many documents related to Serviceguard configuration and troubleshooting in the ITRC database.
