32-bit Oracle 7.34 on 64-bit HP 11.i ??????

HELP!! , Will Oracle 7.34 be compatable with OS 11.i, on a rp5470 machine, ant patches if not??? Thanks!!

It probably might work. No guarantees though as Oracle 7.3.4 is way out of support. I doubt it was ever even test with HP-UX 11i. You can try it, but if it doesn't work don't expect help from Oracle.

I'm running 8.1.6 and 8.1.7 on HP-UX 11i and have no issues. With the exception of the fact that Oracle is running at 32bit and the amount of shared memory I can access is limited, so that keeps the SGA sizes down.
