6th Dutch Perl Workshop

Fri 6 March 2009 is the definite date for the 2009 version of the highly praised and appreciated Dutch Perl Workshop, a one day event about the language Perl.

It will be held in Arnhem.

http://www.perlworkshop.nl/nlpw2009/ will be updated regularly to provide you with up-to-date information.
Most likely most known Dutch Perl Mongers will be present to answer your perl questions.

Most presentations will be in Dutch.

We still accept talks from (new) speakers. Please register and suggest whatever you want to show us.

Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn

Re: 6th Dutch Perl Workshop

Hello H.Merijn,

I would love to attend as I
have been dealing with Perl since
1990 (at that time I used to
exchange emails with Larry Wall
when Perl was released through
"patches", not a single archive).I also remember names like Tom Christiansen
and Randall Swartz (sp?). I have lost
track of the last two guys for a long
time.

Three years ago Larry Wall had a nice
presentation about Perl, life and
his plans for the future. HP invited
him (I am a Unix Profession Leadership
Team member and Unix Ambassador at HP).

The presentation was based on alphabet
and each letter was replaced by one
topics he discussed... Typical from him.
Unusual and interesting.

But, I am far away in Sydney Australia
and I doubt that I can get easily
to your side of the world :)

Anyway, I hope the workshop is a success!

Cheers,
