9 char. UID in our HP UNIX servers
Is it possible for 9 char. UID in our HP UNIX servers. I've HPUX 11.31 version installed in rx2660 machine. Now I would like to creade 9 charactered UID.

Look at the manpage of "lugadmin". Executing "lugadmin -e" enables the system for long user and group names.
I have this feature activated since HP-UX 11.23 (where it was an optional feature to be installed separately) about 5 years ago and have never had issues with it.
