A LVM error for iSCSI LUN ( HP-UX 11iv3 + LeftHand iSCSI )
OS : HP-UX 11iv3
iSCSI : iSCSI-00_B.11.31.03_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA_PA.depot
Storage : HP P4300 (1.8TB LUN, RAID 10, one node)
I run the command to initial iSCSI.
1) swlist -d @ /tmp/iSCSI-00_B.11.31.03_HPUX_
B.11.31_IA_PA.depot
2) swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s /tmp/iSCSI-
00_B.11.31.03_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA_PA.depot iSCSI-00
3) /opt/iscsi/bin/iscsiutil -i -N
4) /opt/iscsi/bin/iscsiutil -a -I 192.1.1.110
5) /opt/iscsi/bin/iscsiutil -p -D
6) /usr/sbin/ioscan -NH 64000
7) /opt/iscsi/bin/iscsiutil -p -O
I run "ioscan -funCdisk" and physical path is OK.
Than I used "SMH" to create VG,LV,FileSystem.
It is OK. (Attachment File. PPT file : p1~p5)
I can create file and directory.
Reading and writing is OK.
When I reboot BL860c , the LVM is error.
(Attachment File. PPT file : p6~p8)
Can everybody know what happen ?
Thank you.

Re: A LVM error for iSCSI LUN ( HP-UX 11iv3 + LeftHand iSCSI )
HP engineer had come here and given me a solution.
Before I shutdown or reboot server , umount the iscsi lun.
The solution is very........my god....
HP-UX + ( EVA or P2000G3 )
That is a good solution.....

Re: A LVM error for iSCSI LUN ( HP-UX 11iv3 + LeftHand iSCSI )
This might be a shot in the dark, but can everyone remember the basic rules about scsi?
Which numbers are resticted in scsi, in case of conflicts?
