Are you trying to install,
Here is how to select the bundle with the swinstall:
swinstall -s
I hope I understood your question.
Good luck.

Re: a problem about swinstall
It looks like your system is not resolving the hostname properly hence it is asking for the target.
Check for hostname,resolv.conf ,/etc/hosts

Re: a problem about swinstall
======= 03/19/03 13:56:42 EAT BEGIN swinstall SESSION (interactive)
(jobid=gs6-0045)
NOTE: The interactive UI was invoked, since no software was
specified.
* Session started for user "root@gs6".
* Beginning Selection
======= 03/19/03 13:56:47 EAT END swinstall SESSION (interactive)
(jobid=gs6-0045)
I found another way to use it.And it seems work well but the interactive UI will not come out.
The first article I paste include the screen of swinstall UI.It only show the target selection UI but not interactive UI.
Another thing,syslog say that "sendmail[16200]: unable to qualify my own domain name (hostA) -- using short name"

Solutionto solve the message about sendmail in the syslog place an alias at the line where your localhostname is with the "localhostname." (the dot is the important part here) in /etc/hosts like;
IP hostname hostname.
After this the message should not appear in the syslog anymore

Re: a problem about swinstall
In regard of your swinstall issue. If you issued the following command to avoid the interactive mode.
#swinstall -s
Or when you go to the interactive mode you should select the software by hiting the space bar to highlight the bundle you want to install :
#swinstall -s
then click on Space Bar to highlight the bundle, then
Actions Menu>Install
It sould work.
Good luck.
