A question about CDE
Hi all
I'm talking about HP-UX 11.23
I can't start the CDE on the local console while I can log on CDE by EXCEED.
And on the local screen there is even no message like "starting CDE login"!
there is just:"
system ready
console login:
"
Can you help me?

Re: A question about CDE
You say that you get console login prompt. What after that. Once you enter login name, does anything happen?
Do get any errors in /var/dtXerrors and in $HOME/.dt/errorlog and startlog.
Does nslookup on ip and host name works?
You can run dr_dt and check for errors and resolve it.
