A serious problem when igniting a rx2600 system
Now I have tried installing 11.23 on rx2600 with the ignite server which is a B2000 system
And I got the following errors:
"
ERROR: Tar: error! blocksize changed
ERROR: File: . not found.
loadfile command failed, retry? ([y]/n):
"
And I pressed 'y' and after a while the same error came out again and again
What can I do?
Thx in advance

Re: A serious problem when igniting a rx2600 system
Check the tar file size, also check the /tmp file system is it large enough to unpack the tar file??...If not then increase the file system size tat should resolve the issue.
Best Regards,
Prashanth

Re: A serious problem when igniting a rx2600 system
It looks like there is an error in the ignite image on the ignite server.
This tar error is connected with corrupt tar file. Try with other ignite image from the server.

Borislav

Re: A serious problem when igniting a rx2600 system
The download of the tar file failed or was incompletely uploaded to the Ignite Server.
Make sure the firmware is up to date on that system before trying to install the OS.

If you have the latest - release of 11.23 - should run on either pa-risc or itanium -
